I got my flu shot at my Publix today...it was no charge with my insurance and Publix gave me $10.00!!Two of the items on my list were Bogo and two others on special, so I made out like a champ!! Perfect score.
Come to the area every year and have always loved this store. But what happened? Got here this year and prices were outrageous. Quality of meat and produce were subpar. Shopped here 3 times our first week but had to switch to Walmart for our groceries after that. Prices there are less than half and quality is better. On one visit, a customer in front of me complained that the store was out of most of what she wanted and had been for a long time. They called the grocery manager to hear her complaints. The employees are great and really seem to care.
Two of the pharmacy employees are extremely unprofessional. When transferring your prescription to another pharmacy, do not expect this pharmacys incompetent employees to do it correctly. Its much better to leave Publix pharmacy out of it and let your doctor get in touch with your new pharmacist.
Amazing store. Take advantage of their BOGO and their 2fers. Staff are wonderful.
I love Publix! Thats why I was very surprised that check out person didn't speak to me even after my initial greeting. He dropped the change in my hand and moved on. A simple greeting would have prompted 5 stars. Everyone else in store was super helpful.
